2010 JOHNSTONE, I.M. “The low energy design potential and limitations of new and retrofitted housing in Dunedin on sites subject to low solar exposure’. Master of Applied Science thesis proposal, Otago University, New Zealand. I did not proceed with enrolment nor undertake the proposed project as an independent and autonomous researcher due to the then prohibitive cost of the necessary software. In September 2016 I still feel the project is worthwhile undertaking. Whether I do so or not remains to be seen, given my current interests and commitments. PDF link here
